Oregon is one of six states, or "wings," that comprise the Pacific Region of Civil Air Patrol -- the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force. Civil Air Patrol (CAP), headquartered at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, under the Air Education and Training Command , is a non-profit, federally-chartered volunteer organization dedicated to serving the people of the United States through its three missions: Emergency Services, Aerospace Education and the Cadet Program.

UNIT ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OF REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETINGS:
Oregon Wing will now use the ORWGF 54 for all activities outside of the normal (regularly scheduled) unit meeting. Please refer to ORWG Pamphlet 10-4 for instructions on how to complete this form. WIMRS New Procedures and Clarifications
There are new procedures and clarifications for using WMIRS in place of previously used WMU functions, which has been discontinued by ORWG.
There is also a new form for submitting receipts to request reimbursement for fuel, etc. on approved AF missions.

Fun Night at the Museum
CAP Cadets and Senior Members are invited to join us at the Evergreen Air Museum on Saturday, 8 April 2017 for an fun night at the Museum!
We will have a Night Tour, a movie, build rockets(cadets) and sleep on the floor of the Museum in the shadow of the Spruce Goose.
In the morning after breakfast,there will be a rocket launch(weather pending). This activity also includes admission to the museum the following day.

ALASKA AIRLINES AVIATION DAY
Attention Aviation Day presented by Alaska Airlines at the Portland facility.
Build a glider, interact with industry professionals, tour several Military Aircraft, learn about composites used on the New Boeing 787, learn about aviation and aerospace education opportunities. Also featuring booths from : Alaska Air, Horizon Air, The Federal Aviation Administration, Evergreen Air Museum, Air Line Pilots Association, National Association of Rocketry, Airway Science for Kids, United States Armed Services, Insitu, and more.
